hi all i purchased this box and dish, ive ive put the dish up and connected the box but i dont seem 2 get any signal? could any1 tell me do i have 2 flash the box or does it come pre flashed,i used 2 have the starview boxes and eurovox on cable but i am in the dark about this set up!! any tips would be most welcome thanks!!!!

I think those boxes come pre-loaded with some channels but either way you can get it going staight out of the box without loading any s/ware.
what sat is the dish pointed to and how was it setup?has it been checked that it is actually on a sat

thanks for your reply dick,i folowed a tut from here on how 2 put the dish up i have the dish facing thor,ihave managed 2 get a friend of a friend rnd at 3 0 clock 2 check the dish for me as he works for sky and i just wanted 2 make sure the box dont need flashing b4 he called!! thanks

yeah he will be able to sort it for you,there is not much on thor at the moment,best if you can motorise in the future and patch the box with unofficial s/ware and softcams.39E bulsat package is best at the moment but for the time being you will be able to get the FTA channels without doing anything to the box.

it is a motorised dish i just heard thor was the easiest 2 pick up when setting your dish,i was looking at getting a tring card for the saturday football as its cheaper than a season ticket!!

yes your right if its motorised 1W is the sat to set up on sorry I thought it was fixed.you can also try this guide for motorised std TMs

the lad turned up said he couldnt do it as he never had the tools with him with it been motorised and mentioned the ark,did ring his mate who said he will sort it 2moz for ?40 am happy with that so i should be up and running 2moz!!i could not open that zip file as it said it was empty,also dick can you recomend any good cards i can buy on ebay 2 get as close 2 sky as poss for the family plz!! cheers mate
