Technomate dead when load patch with usb.

I bought a new technomate 5200d super + reciever as an upgrade to my 1000d.

I downloaded the latest softcom and phantom patch extracted and put on usb stick and loaded first the phantom patch, then the reciever died, i hooked it to my pc and after a few goes loaded the patch all working.

But does anyone know why this happened, i would like to load patches with usb, instesd of disconnecting and moving to pc, but i dont want it dying on me everytime i try to load a patch.

I dont know why it does it but I have read in the past that the 1st time you patch you should do it via the rs232 port so you will probably be ok now,why dont you change the patch to see if it works via usb now.as you know how to rescue it it shouldnt be a problem.
