help in adding a new sat in sat setup to tm 5400ci

    Hi guys
Can anyone help out please, I have just got a second tm 5400 ci+usb box and want to run this through the loop out, however, I am trying to add bullsat 39 east and not sure how to add it to the second boxes menu, I have just search the tm manual and failed, any help welcome, thank you

    further info

Sorry guys a bit more info, bullsat (Hellesat) does not appear within the second boxes menu, so I am not sure how to add it (39. East) to the satellite setup menu, I am sure it is something simple with the remote control but cannot find it, cheers

I don't know for sure, but can't you use System Setting / Data Transfer from your first receiver to the second via use of the USB stick ?

        further up date

        Thanks Carew
I have since done a factory reset on default settings and got hellesat 2 back along with all the other sats back, and the channels I wanted are working

What I would like to know though is there another way of connecting a second box up to a motorized dish setup that you can run a second box off, (while the first / main box is powered off at the mains) if so what would be the best way to do this, thanks in advanced

You change the lnb to a duel or quad.

Think its best to only use i box to move the dish though.

            update

            Cheers manx
If I change LNB for dual or quad, I will control dish from main sat box and use lnb connection to feed second box, no risk of both boxes trying to power motor this way, cheers mate

if you loop out from the 1st(main) box you can have full motor control on the 2nd providing the 1st box is put to stand by if 1st box is off at the mains 2nd box will not work.if 1st box is on 2nd box can only receive channels on same sat and transponder as 1st box.
