Technomate 6800HD Super Recording

Hi.
When record button is pressed the receiver will not record for longer then 2 hours, even though I have 640GB disk. Does anyone know how to remove this limit.

Hello,

Assuming it is the same as on the 5400,
If you press the record button again while recording, a box will pop up and you can then edit the recording time length.

Sounds like you have the original firmware did you try any off the patches in Download center
or does it happen when you go into your epg menu and then click the record button on the program you want to record too.

I have patched firmware 7.25. back in the days when you hit the record button (no timers involved) it would just record non stop till you cancel. now does not matter which patch i've try it remain the same

thank you very much, you suggestion works just fine with my receiver too. was able to increase the recording time to 20h.
