    Keys + Technomate 3100d

Hi All, does anyone know how to add keys manually? as When I try I find that there are too many numbers/characters in the 1st part & I am only able to use 6 not 8 as in the key format.

    Thanks

there are various ways depending what keys you want to add
keys for polsat or digi-tv you go to a channel and press mute
and exit and the key edit panel will open
lines 10 and 11 are for the 00 keys
lines 20 and 21 are for the 01 keys
you use the chn and vol buttons to scroll to the line your editing
and>ok and the key panel will open for you to ener the keys
with these keys the first eight sets go into one line and the second
eight sets go into the next line for the key your entering
for me i would always use the softcam to load the latest keys it takes
seconds with your null modem cable
if you are wanting to entwer dcw/biss keys you go to the chn the key is for
and on the remote press 8280 and the biss key panel will open
you then scoll to a empty line click >ok and enter the key then save and exit
the chn will now open if you have biss keys for more than one chn you must
enter the key for every chn in the same way useing a different line for every chn if you want to use these keys regularly keep a note what is on which line then you can over write the key when they change

      Keys + Technomate 3100d

Hi, Thanks for your reply. I have managed to enter the edit menu, but I am unable to move past the keys entering stage. I have pressed all the keys on the remote to move to the next bit when you enter the second line but it just stays on the 1st line even after I clicked ok.

      Any Ideas?

      Thanks

8280 doesnt work on the 3100.
Press menu>system info>cas menu, and search through the encryptions until you find the slot where the channels your after belong.

            Keys + Technomate 3100d

Hi, Thanks for your replies. I am unsure which keys to use as there are 2 formats. 1 says Slot's the other is just a set of numbers/characters. So I am unsure which one's to use.

            Thanks
