    Whoops DM 500

    Need a magician,

    Forgot to power off box when connecting to LNB and I think I have broken something.

    Box no longer moves dish or scans channels.

    Anybody help please.

    maybe a short out so probs damage the tuner dont think you can replace these as they are soldiered on the 500s, unless you are good at it

        In the old sky boxes there was a fuse that protected the box
        if you did this.Might be the same with this box

          Took the lid off but can't see a fuse.

            easier to reflash incase you corrupted the image save any files first you need.

                This happened to me with my old TM 5400, i called
                the suppliers played dumb and got a new box sent
                out to me.

                  Fuse F70 is the protection for lnb circuit.It might be a cartridge fuse(black cylinder).They are soldered in.Look near the tuner,it feeds to R705
