TM 5300d+ usb super and tring

Hi all

I'm looking to get a tring card and using a 5300 with no ci slot is this stb able to take the Saturday update via the card reader or will i need an external conax cam?

are you sure the card slot is not under the pull down flip on the front right hand side

yes harry there is a card reader in the box but i dont think it will take the update on sat for the footy. i think i need a cam which needs a ci slot which the box doesnt have.

Latest TM firmware and my mates tm5300 has not missed an update.

Thanks manic for the reply is it the official firmware from tecnomate or the patched one? So i take it the conax is embedded in the MB.

Should be in latest patch as well as latest official firmware.
