thanks for all your support. sorry to dig up an old thread but about a week after posting last time i tried to get it locked on again but with no success. apparently where i am located in the channel islands the signal for 16E is so weak it is incredibly difficult to find and stay locked on to it. now another pub down the road from me had tring last season but when it rained it would scramble - would this be because of the weak signal?

another pub here is showing games on sky italia but my understanding is that the best of ?3k is needed to get setup. is there any other way? or am i forever lost in the realms of searching for satellites on my flat roof in the rain

a bigger dish or a stronger lnb might help to make signal stronger .(maybe 1.1 mtr dish and smart lnb or Inverto Black Ultra lnb)
