technomate9100 - might be getting one. few questions

    hi guys.

my mate offered me technomate9100 for ?50 - is it a good deal ?
i've never dealt with these receivers. I want it to be used with paid server - does cccam works on it ? what would be the best image ? is the setup procedure very different from dm500s ?

    Thanks

To be honest mate, very old stb not worth the hassle and support minimal.
Buy a cheap non linux stb like spiderbox/openbox/blade that can be had cheap but steer clear of the old TM stb's.

i've just read it's one of the better clones of dm7020 and that it's quite good...so many different opinions

so what receiver can I use with paid servers ? something that can run cccam and it's not too expensive.

Manic01 gave you answer to your question already
tm are easy to use with cccam the 6000+7000 superseries+5402hd but they are not realy cheap.

i run a tm600 on a fixed dish and its flawless although a dm500 v8 could do the job for about ?50 with masses of support. regards mdt
