I tried to enter the latest keys for digi, but still no working! Any ideas? Many Thanks

I"v just checked and most of digi is still open with the sa4fun softcam.check you have correct patch that AU is off in options and that you unzip before loading I"m using atm6800&tm5400ci and both clear ok.baashi do not use biss menu you can open the cam with notepad and enter the keys manually in cas menu use ident 2011/2111

yeah I"m not sure why some are still working and others not but I believe all are supposed to be closed now. ask in the normal technomate section there are a couple of experts that may be able to answer you.

Hi, a quick question if you dont mind - what doe AU refer to?and you say to have it off - i thought that it should always be on?

AU is auto update and needs to be off to avoid conflicting keys.

My 5400+ is still clearing - strange one, really - a couple of mates have the same box (same model, but about 1 year older) and they have both lost Digi and the latest softcam cleared one box yesterday but they have gone again today?

And when he tries to patch the box using a USB and firmware, he gets a message saying incompatible - I was putting it down to an error with the USB stick.

Any thoughts?

How to go back to original firmware

Hi there, tell your friend to download the latest firmware, and unzip the firmware into a Usb stick. plug in the usb stick into the receiver. turn off the receiver completely, i mean turn it off from the back, and unplug it for about 15seconds. plug the receiver again but do not turn it on from the back of the receiver. now, pressing the menu button at the front of the receiver, turn on the receiver from the button at the back, while you are still pressing the menu button. the receiver will go into the loader mode.from here, u should choose the option to download file by browsing the usb stick. u can go to where u put the unzipped firmware file in the stick by using the remote control or the scroll buttons infront of the receiver. after updating the firmware, reset the receiver, and it will work again. u can now search on the net for a patch and softcam for your receiver. good luck. i had the same problem with my TM6900 pvr combo+, and it is working perfectly now.
