    hdd for vu duo

    can anyone recommend which hdd runs best with a vu duo, looking for 1tb but dont know what make to go for, thanks

      I recommend installing a hard drive before doing anything with your new VU+ Duo. (I installed a 1TB SAMSUNG HD103SJ SATA F3, ?40), If you go ahead and install the Vix firmware before hand you will not be able to format the hard drive, the only way to format it is by installing it back to the Vu Duo?s original firmware then formatting it. Once you have done that then you will have to reinstall the Vix firmware, so always best to install a hard drive, keep the original Vu Duo firmware on it, then format/initialize it, then once that?s done you can install Vix firmware.
      Latest Vix firmware is 2.0.3 @ time of writing this.

          Scan.co.uk are doing this hard drive today only for ?37 m8, get it quick !!
