Jtag a Vu Solo Help!

Has anyone successfully JTAG'ed a Vu Solo box to update the bootloader?

i wonder if possible box could be flashed by an old file and bootloader by the null modem cable method,one for rd to query to try and do a forced flash?

With the number of bricked boxes appearing, JTAG would be a good repair option. After opening the box theres no obvious points?

I have certainly not seen any evidence of any one discovering a valid way to j-tag a Vu receiver.

I wonder how the manufacturers are repairing the boxes then?
