hi guys
been trying for weeks to sort this out but still not finished.
with my vu+ duo clone i cannot get a picture from viasat 4.8 V feeds, just get a breaking picture on the H feeds
put on the old dreambox 500 picks everything up
i've tried different images vix 2.3 & 2.4 just tried blackhole 1.6.6 still no better
seen on another forum about using a varible attenuator, but i would have thought i need a booster to signal not a reduction
was wondering if its possibe or easy to fit a replacement tuner,i don't think a usb tuner (if they do satelitte ones) would be any good as the signal is drives the motorised dish
only got the v+ duo so i could watch 3pm kickoffs then switch over to skysports news and switch back as soon as second half started without having to wait for the dish to move round
