Duo or Solo2 - worth the extra penny's?

Been reading up about the VU+ Duo and the Solo2.
The Solo2 looks much faster but there seems to me much more support for the Duo.

Researched a bit but very much new to it all so need advice from people who have got experience with both boxes.

Support is the same for both machines the Solo2 is the obvious choice for the latest model at that price, For satellite viewing its the same as every other Receiver in that respect but when it comes to Multimedia duties there is nothing else to touch it

Never had a duo but read in plenty of places that solo2 is better from people who have both.

Solo2 is still relatively new box so couple of things still need sorting.
Blind scan doesn't work yet, that may not interest you though.
Transcoding is not as great as it should be either as you are unable to adjust quality, I've given up with it!.

In general I'm happy with it though, it runs fast and can handle plenty of plugins without to much fuss.
In the future I would of thought faster boxes will be more common and plugins taking advantage of that will not run on slower boxes.

One more thing, I would say support is the same for both.
I use blackhole image and same support.
Guessing vix will be similar for both.
It's just a matter of number of people using them and solo2 will get more common.
