Vu+ Duo2 Tuner Issues

Hi Everyone,

I'm hoping someone can help, as I'm really confused and bitterly disappointed with the Duo2 so far

I have just moved from a dm800hd to a Duo2, with a 1m motorised dish, all my channels scanned
in perfectly fine, until I switched to the duo2.

The Duo2 scans all normal SD channels just fine, but misses out various HD channels? especially
on 19.2e, 0.8w, and 13.e, but manages to scan 28.2e just fine?

I have re-aligned the dish manually many times, to the best possible signal strength, and re-scanned
but it still misses many HD channels?

Switch it back to the dm800hd, and all my HD channels are back again?

What can I be possibly be doing wrong? from what i read from other forums, it looks like the tuner
in the duo 2 is pretty awful? have i just wasted ?450 of my hard earned money?

Any advise would be much appreciated.

PS, I'm using the latest Blackhole 2.0.7.3 image.

What happens when you ftp a list and bypass scanning ? does the Duo see the channels and allow you to watch them?

I tried lots of images with my vu+ duo clone, only one that would scan all the satelitte right, that was a version of BH1.7.5
I know my one was clone, so that was a problem, downloaded lots of images until I got it working

I've gone from a dm800hd to duo2. Been running black hole since I bought it. Uploaded channels via FTP all working. I think maybe your scanning using dvb-s and not dvb-s2
