    vix images

i just wondered is this true and has anyone read this post that i found on a forum about the future of vix images, i know the vix is a popular image with lots of linux box makes and users. also is there anything on the vix forum about this?

below is a copy of the post i found elsewhere

    openvix zeus image support pulled

last night openvix announced there would be no more support for it's newest image Zeus, image support has been pulled at version 0023.
at this time due to lack of official announcement it's un-clear if they will continue support for any vix image, it's hinted on their site that this is case but as yet this hasn't been offically confirmed

It's Helios mate, after the Greek god who personifies the Sun, Helios.

I did wonder why the updates stopped suddenly. That explains it.

Can you update to Helios without losing all of your settings etc?

EDIT: Sorry, I've just seen that Zeus settings backups are supported. I'll probably grab Helios at some point then.

all new image flashes start from scratch using no backups.
