vu solo mini

hi got a problem with a vu solo mini thats stuck on red light it won't respond to usb to re update it that way, can anyone point me in the right direction for files needed to ref lash via rs232 and anyone know why it happened had it loaded with vix image for a week then tried to turn on one morning then this happenend

it was the latest vix zeus image

Did you get an RS232 cable with the receiver or the Ferarri IC board for updating that way, if not its probably not a Ferarri chip and another model.

With you running the latest image it could also have been hit by the Timebomb drivers that Vu released in january to counteract the Solo2 and other clone problems.

If it has been hit i dont know what to suggest as the Solo2 Clones need a Nandflash chip replacement to get them working again

contact supplier tell them your box died and no idea why though they probably know already.

funny that i have 3 here red light bricked from zeus ,,,should have stuck with pli or blackhole clouibox clone that is bricked

it was all images with drivers for 2014 that downed boxes,if you wanted the real thing you buy the genuine unit,copies/clone are when problems like this happen.new chips needed for boxes.

I think my box has just being clone hit as well .. Red light not booting up .. Looks like it can read the USB tho .. but after flash it just does not boot still :/
