    Solo2 Questions

    I'm new to Linux receiver and got myself a Vu+ Solo2 receiver last week to replace a non linux Technomate, I've some questions that I'm not sure about,

    1. When I flash a new Vix image via USB, old version files will be deleted?

    2. Is it possible to transfer ADM file to USB or does it has to be in flash memory?

    3. I'll use a 4GB USB to store epg and picon files, what format does the USB have to be?

    4. What format does my 1TB external HDD need to be to record programmes?

    5. If I download skins from the feeds, it will automatically update when there's a new version?

    6. I've downloaded Picons from the feeds, how do I configure it to save it to my USB instead of flash?

    7. How do I set my USB and external HDD mount so it knows where to look?

      All of your questions are easily answered if you care to look through and read the threads. I have noticed you have joined another forum yesterday and asked all the same questions at 4pm with no answer as yet. Majority of your questions are easily answered in the vu section though. hth

          1. Yes
          2. Flash memory /tmp folder
          3. Fat32
          4. Your receiver will do that for you its in the menu
          5. No
          6. use FTP to transfer from Flash to USB
          7. depends which image you use some auto mount for you some you ve to set yourself again all in the main menu

              If I format my external HDD in the receiver, it will be in ext3/4 format?
