VU Duo image flashing problem

Help please
i have a VU duo and it was running Vix V3. I kept getting errors on the plugins so i decided to flash the latest Blackhole image. i download the latest image and bootloader.
I transferred the Bootloader to a formatted Fat32 USB. Powered down the box, plugged in the USB, Powered up and it flashed the Bootloader. I then turn it off and did the same with the image.
When i turn the box on its stuck on Starting on the LCD front panel and doesn't load. I try doing this with the latest VIX and Blackhole and both get stuck on Starting.
Can somebody please point me in the right direction to what im doing wrong. its driving me mad.

Is this a Clone or a Genuine Receiver it would help to know as recovery is different on both machines

I purchased from ebay and as far as i know its not a clone. I have the box and manual

Ive just downloaded blackhole from another site and its worked. Happy days

In your first post you mention v3 is that on the box as this tells you it's a clone and if it is it will already have the latest bootloader.
