This questions been asked a million times mate how much do you want to spend? Most of them do the same job. Some do it faster and have more memory than others and some are fixed satellite tuners some with swappable sat,tv and cable tuners. And top end capable of having all tuners. hth

In the Vu range you would want to look at the Vu Solo se which should be around ?189 from reputable dealer and has the pluggable tuner and has fast processor and is the latest box from Vu although the Vu Duo 2 is the flagship model. You can view technical specs at vuplus.com hth

with only a fixed mini dish i would before spending up to ?200 on a linux box
i would seriously think about going for a motorised system, in the light of all
whats happened with the loss of the HD channels and many posts that think
all the channels will very soon be blocked from 28e, but if you just want to stay
with the dish set up you already have then i would go for the cheapest box that
allows you more or less the same options in the menu's etc:

          original vu duo2 /vu zero/ tm-nano-se. v-box / 36v /1.2 dish,
