Which Files/Firmware do I put on this?

My Dad got a new box with live streams on it etc and he gave me his old one as shown in the pic below. I use an S11 currently and would like to put this one upstairs. Problem is, my dad tried to flash the box hegave me before so and now its powering on, and the fan is running full speed, and no software seems to run as theres no pic and just the blue LED lit along with the bfan noise.

Its the (COCO M3 SlyBox in Pic) Why is it powering on and making the loud full speed Fan noise?

Once the I/O button is pressed it switches of OK and thats it.

God knows what my dad tried to do, but I do believe the box is fixable as I have fixed worse.

Problem is, I am not familiar with this box or the program tpo update it or flash the eeprom.

Does anyone have any pointers on what to do to get it kicking again? Is it bricked? Thanks Very much Lads......

Ammmm..... I no the jist of what ya said, but which Firmware do I use, and is it flashed via USB stick or RS232 all the time, or is it just to unbrick the box.

Which Rs232 s/ware do I use to flash which firmware???

Also.....Wheres the files and what name are they as I am unfamiliar with this box. In fact, I havent been modding in quite a while and the only stb I needed to do was my S11 which works perfect atm......Except for "scrambleeeeed" a lot and out of sync.

Can someone please tell me which way I have to do this as I saved 2 S11s that were not powering on at all, and I gave back what I learnt on this forum in quite a lot of posts. Its not like I leech or anything.............

      Cheers lads..... And Thanks again....

I don't have one and very little can be found But as I said basically a clone of vu solo. Here's an old thread on how to http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...our-vu-203093/
RS232 for unbricking and you could read this thread http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...-3-2-a-449826/
As I said try older firmware first these were supposed to take genuine firmware a while back

Thanks a lot fella. It seems the old trusty NULL cable is always worth holding on to for things like this.

Will report back when mission accomplished!! Nice one!!!
