    As i said before and from your own experience "His receiver works fine in my house" you cannot replicate conditions in your house in another there will always be a variable involved that will make a difference finding out what that is can be very hard

      I visited his house for the first time in ages & I was shocked to see that he has NO TP Links.
      He has an ethernet cable running from his modem to his dreambox and that's it.
      So, maybe that is his problem.

        I presume when you say TP links you are referring to Home Plugs if so then hard wiring an Ethernet cable between router and receiver is the preferred No1. choice, Second would be home plugs followed by wi-fi

            From what I have heard over the years, it is hard to beat a physical connection. ( Hard Wired)
