vu solo 2 multi sat problem

Hi all

i have set up my box with 28 d astra on one satteliter no problem fine now i want to set up my other dish motorised.
what will i need to do to set up all the other sattelites and how do you switch from lnb 1 motorised to lnb 2 fixed astra?

you dont need to do anything setup the other tuner as Simple - Positioner and then enter your longitude and latitude details if your Motorised dish has been set up with USALS anyway.

After that just install a Motorised channel list

Is this list the catseye list and where does that go onto thebmemory stick or a dir on receiver if so what directory please

Ok because i am new i wanted to make it clear what i am asking

Vu solo 2 set up with tuner B set to a fixed dish on 28 with the q skin all working fine

i now want to set up my motorised dish to tuner a and this is what i am stuck on.

i have downloaded a list called cateye which has all the satellites on

Waht i require help on is

a how to set up tuner 1 for motorised on my solo 2 ? are there any guides for this ?

the cateye file where do i copy this too is it the memory-stick or the main directory on the vu solo if so can someone tell me what directory please

the prgogram i am using to transfer my files to solo is the dcc dreambox control centre

To setup tuner 2 for the motor dish

Goto www.dishpointer.com

enter your postcode........and get the Long & Lat (see photo bottom left)

press menu on the remote setup/service searching/tuner config/tuner B/press sideways on the remote till you get simple
then enter the Long & Lat east or west

Then go to BBC1 on your channel list (28.2) the dish will move
if your dish is setup right you should get a picture

i may be getting confused here tuner b is up and running as a fixed sat fir astra 28
what i cant do is set the postioner up fir the mutl sat option on tuner a

Digicon gave you a link how to install a channel list did you read it ?

You said one of the tuners are set up for 28.2 so what channel list do you have on the box ?

I only have one channel lust at monent 28 east
I did look at the link digicon recomended but this realted to a drambox and also channels on 28 e and i have them
am i right or wrong with my thinking p&d

Vu Solo & Dreambox both use the same channel list

unpack it/run it

enter the box IP address name password
then connect and upload the channel list
