VU+ duo, HELP before I launch it :-)

I've installed the latest Vix firmware, easy enough to do, got FTA channels working no problem, can FTP to my box and can stream to PC etc etc.
My problem, FTP'd across the CcC*** prog to temp folder, went onto the menu, ipk installer nothing showing up.
Tried FTP'ing the files across on there own to the tmp directory, and tried the folder to that directory, nothing shows up in the the menu via the box.
Pulling my hair out with this one, if anyone can PM details from start to finish on how to get my box running I'll be very greatful, cheers peeps,

PS Tried dreamboxedit, can get it to send files to my comp,but not to the box, Flash FXP works no problem transferring both ways.

I can connect using dreambox edit, and flash FXP m8, only username no password.
It's getting launched shortly !!

It was the package that I downloaded, all indivdual files, when it should of been one file ending in .ipk !!
From start to finish should take no more than an hour, installing hard drive etc, instead wasted nearly 6 hours.
Will hopefully put a tut together, so people can get it up and running without the hassle I had.
