i might buy a vu+ duo in the next 2 weeks i already have a spare 500gb pc hdd. from what i have read it is best to leave hard drive for recording and have pic icons and epg on usb. so was wondering what size should i get and would it go on the back or there an internel usb. i just remember something has an internel usb most probaly not this

i use a 16 gb blade cruzer stick in the back of my Uno for the epg and picons etc. i also use another 16gb stick specifically for making image backups. although for epg and picons a 2 gb would be more than sufficient.

can you have image backup on the same stick as epg

yes without any problems. i only separate mine as being a beta tester i need to keep regular backups, so it's easier to have a dedicated stick for backups only.

ordered a 2gb usb which is more than enough space i think once i order box will start looking at images
