Problem with recording and watching at the same time

Hey all, I've had the duo + for a while now on the latest vix image! Love it, but if I am recording on tuner a and watch tuner b it is glitchy?

same dual lnb etc so shouldn't be that? Could it be something to do with my he? I've switched the cables around and still exactly the same

Check connector m8, make sure the copper braid is not touching anything it shouldnt be touching, if that makes sense.

yes as dell_xps said i'd whip the f-plug off the coax and make a new clean connection to eliminate that as the problem.

Can I rule out it having anything to do with hd or box setup then?

Unless it is a faulty tuner, but id say it was yer cable feed to vu duo m8, maybe water has got in at the lnb end, check connector first anyway.
