    hdd problems

    Hi, can anyone give me some advice on what i am doing wrong.I can watch my vu+ duo ok,but when i fitted a 3.5 internal hdd and switch back on again i get nothing but a blank screen.If i then disconnect the cables going to it inside the box and switch back on all ok and great picture.Would appreciate any feedback,cheers

      Did you intialise your hard drive after installing ?
      (using the original VU Image)

          vu image

          Hi,dell_xps.you seem to be giving me lots of advice and i thank you for that.When i bought the vu+ box i was asked if i wanted a image loaded on to it.After reading everyones comments i went for the black hole image(did i choose the right one)so do i need to go back to the start, go to factory settings and then will it allow me to install the hard drive.Thanks

              Im not sure about BH image. I thought you had Vix image
              installed.Have a look in the menu see if there is an option to
              intialise it/ format it.
