Cannot connect to Vu+ Duo now i have flashed images??

Basically flashed my Vu Duo from dream elite to dreambox uk image.


No when i try and connect via dreambox edit to change bouquets it says it cannot connect via ip address.


I have all the correct ip's, usernames and port numbers in dreamboxedit just wont connect now.

Is there an option in the dreamboxuk image that prevents this?

you seem to know what you are doing but have you defo checked the ip addy on the box? via the menu - setup- network-adapter settings?

Sounds like you have wrong ip address somewhere.
Ping the box through web browser.
Put the ip address in you think is correct into web browser and hit enter,if its correct will come up with dreambox web control.

you could try starting a telnet session the enter the user name ( root ) then type

passwd

exactly as i have spelled it. this should kick in a password reset enter the password then hit enter and do it again, dont worry if you dont see a onscreen prompt between entering the password both times it will still work.

it wont connect also....when i put the ip address in my browser it opens webcontrol but wont load any contents ie programs and radio.

go into the network page on the receiver and see exactly what it says there. failing that you may need to reflash with a new image or even with the same one. also make sure that the FTP server is actually active on the box.

try dreamboxedit with administrator privs and try a new version of dreambox edit.

I had issue with vu+duo using older version of Dreamset!!
When i d/l the latest version it worked fine after that. try using dreamset. double click on setting and use test config and see what happens!!
