tuner a tuner b

seems to be all tuner problems today!!
now for mine,
what seting for tuner b??
i have one cable runs from my lnb, to the dish motor then on to the stb into tuner A.
Tuner A is set up, and have got 4 diffrent sats set up, and all is well.
Now i have another cable running from the same dish lnb,
bypassing the motor of course, and plugged into tuner B port. have been able to recored and watch another channel on a diffrent tp ok.
problem is, i have configered tuner B to equel tuner A, but when i go to watch another sat from say 28e, it does not find it, i have to put tuner B back to not configured for tuner A to find anything ( i have nothing recording at the time).
should i set tuner B to another setting, i.e loothrough or second cable of motorized lnb?
any help would be appreciated, thanks
dont know if makes any diffrence but i am running on a bh.1.7.2

works a treat now, thought i had run the 2nd cable for nothing, my dish is 100 foot away.
