I wouldent go for any of the vu+ clones vu+ team are Killing any known clone boxes and you will not be able to install latest firmware.......
A company called asp*eysatellite
has just been raided by customs for selling Imported CE models of the vu+ range.
By knowingly buying a cloned box you are supporting the Crime.
I think It should be a crime to knowingly buy a clone box as you know Its Illegal Clone Box!
Its Bad for the sat Sceen
Just buy the original then you wont have any problems with the cheap Hardware that Clone CE imports Have!

there website is still on line and saying they have the vu uno and duo in stock
and ready to dispatch from the uk. it makes you think
if they have been raided the stock would have been confiscated
and the shop website closed down

I bought a vu duo clone from china taking the odd display misplaced so far looks good. Only time will tell about reliability.
A clone is always a gamble but saving ?100 plus to me is a no brainer

To the people here who have bought from china suppliers, whats the score with import tax.

Me and a few friends all use openboxes, however we would all like a box that has an epg, so I was looking at ordering 5 x 800hd's from mixeshop.

will I get stung with import duty ?

I'm sure someone said they had to pay about ?12 onetime for a few boxes but I'd rather get Vu than 800.

tax is vary i found out most of the times depends on the custom duty emploee mood really but it between 10 to 20 i'd worry more about sending it back if something happen

get the supplier to put setop box on invoice and about 10 - 14 dollars total each and you will be ok with customs

also look at vu solo clone instead of 800,s ther a far better box

I just just purchased from german Amazon from what appears to be VU 3rd party seller. Price after conversion works out to be ?257.
Awaiting delivery later next week.

Anyone think this might be a clone?

Edit - The seller actually appears to be Amazon and not 3rd party. So should be original

with the current exchange rate between the euro and the pound thats about the rite price for a original box from Germany.
