Hi all. Anyone know what media player I can use to stream to my tablet from within my home network? They don't have a vlc player for android yet and I've tried mobo player and vplayer with no luck. I can access the openweb page but when I click on the stream button it won't open. Any ideas? Thanks
VLC player replacement for tablet?

I seem to be able to get access to the root of the vu+ duo box when I go into lan mode, but can't stream the tv channels via openwebif.
I can get access to the hdd, etc of the stb, but when I try stream a channel from the openwebif it throws up an error.

Didn't realise you were trying to stream live tv and not a stored file. You won't stream live tv via smb. Bsplayer will stream direct from a web address but don't know about from an stbI seem to be able to get access to the root of the vu+ duo box when I go into lan mode, but can't stream the tv channels via openwebif.

Ok I've woken up properly now and read everything again. Here is vlc steam and convert for android https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...LnZsYy5hcHAiXQ.. and here dreamdroid https://play.google.com/store/search...amdroid&c=apps vlc is what it says and dreamdroid is confirmed working on vu duo being enigma 2 based as well as the e2 dm range and here is another one called dreamstreamoid https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...d=de.zey&hl=enLast edited by happy_highlander; 20 May, 2012, 10:32.Comment

I'll have a look over the next day or two. Kids are playing up a bit and haven't had much time to myself today. Thanks mate. I'll have a look over those links.Comment

Legend. Got it all working with dreamdroid.
Took a while though. Firstly, since getting my tablet the duos ip has changed. Took me a while to figure that out.
Then had to learn how to port forward in my router settings.
Got there eventually, thx mate.Comment
