what fan control settings do you have on your vu+?

Hey fellas,

I'm just tinkering around with the settings on my vu+ duo.

Currently in the 'fan control' settings options my settings are as follows:

fan basic action: off
use fan timer: no

are these the optimal settings for my duo?

I want it to run as smooth & safe as possible

(I'm running vix 2.3 BTW)

i have the blackhole 1.7.2 on my duo
i dont know if it's the correct thing to do
but i set the fan to ON in the set up menu
and it has never given me any problems like
over heating or even getting very warm

running vix 2.4 .... i've got the timer set to 30 minutes on ... 60 minutes off .. never had an overheating problem and my duo is in a cupboard

i have 3 boxes stacked one on top of the other.

top = uno
middle = duo
bottom = ultimo.

all are powered on 24/7 with nothing more than the default settings on ViX 2.4 and none ever get what i would call hot.
