network problems

Hi all.
Just tried out vix 2.4. Everything is fine, Bouquet, etc all loaded and it's all working good.
Only problem is that when I try view the vu+ hdd on my pc it doesn't appear in my network.
DCC connects fine, the vu+ duo can see my pc in the network, but not the other way around. I have initialised the hdd and it is working as I recorded something to test it out.
Any tips out there?

menu> setup> system> network> samba>

( some thing like that i'm at work now so no way to confirm the exact path. ) any hoo install samba then once the receiver reboots it will show. if you get a error saying the feeds are down for maintenance it's because andy is currently uploading a new build to the server so you may have to wait a bit till he's done as he has a piss poor slow connection.

Thanks. I got fed up and flashed my bh 1.7.3 backup back on.
