People are guessing at around 6 months, as for the price? the rumour is that only the top earners in Barclays will be able to afford them

Looks like it has space for another tuner aswell.

Looks like it could replace the Ultimo as Vu+ flagship model.

No doubt it will cost more but will be a lot of old boxes up for sale once they come out.

Its nice enough looking I suppose, but TBH, I prefer the front to be far simpler.
No doubt you can change it, but all that spangly colour display showing the weeks weather is a bit crass/tacky.
              YMMV.

The box does look much nicer then the current Duo which does look plain ugly IMHO.

I wonder if they did any market research? I for one and this includes my family never look at the display on the front of the box TBH.

If they wanted to put a display on the box then it would have looked nicer if there was 1 large display in the centre of the box

Forget the Duo2 the future is with VU's main company Marusys and the Prism cube, The box may not be much to look at but it runs a XBMC which is the far superior to Linux E2.

Why spend an age bling'ing up your E2 receiver with a decent skin picons and the like just to make it look good, the prismcube has to my eyes a very fluid looking menu and settings system that blows E2 out of the water.

                  Take a look.

We just need to know a release date and possible some good encoders for the cams LOL

I've just been informed by vu+ that they're in the final stages of testing. They're looking at a november release for their new range.

I don't think it's out yet and I've also read that it should cost around the 400 euros mark.
