bouquet editing

To be fair thats the one thing I have't done thus far. Just pushed up via VuCC.
To get the feeds in place I assume I have to get TSPanel or something similar installed as I can't see any Catseye feeds in the standard Out-of-the-box 1.7.4 or 1.7.6 images??!?!
But I do remember seeing them somewhere in TSPanel when I had that installed prev on 1.7.6.
Anyway will also try that.
One thing though, longer term ideally I'd want to tweak these Bouquets anyway via DBE as there is lots of regional BBC/ITV duplication in there, and the missus will complain (yeh, I know - don't say it). So really I want to get the VuCC or DBE tweak and push working.
EDIT. One of the guys on the sat-shop forum has had a similar issue (n/a's and loss of HD stuff) when he pushed Catseyes via the latest version of DBE. So I am not the only one.
He got it working by pushing with EnigmaEdit.Comment

You dont need TSpanel on Blackhole just for the channel settings feeds, Blackhole has its own dedicated servers as do most images.
Thats why i said when you reflash the image just go through the ususal setup HDMI, Network and configuring your USALS setup once done on blackhole as you know it goes straight to the channel list which as a new install is empty.
Now before you upload a channel list which is not needed anyway and before you install plugins press green button then yellow button and this will take you to the blackhole server feeds, select the settings option and then download catseye channel list and the duo will ask you to reboot on completion.
Once rebooted press up or down arrow key and you should have your channel bouquets there and then should be able to click inside one of the favorites and see the channels.

Operator error then.
Will try that later.
As I say though I want to tweak the Catseye feeds, but if this works will cross that bridge etc etc.
Cheers Dude.Comment

No problem try loading the channel list as i described and if it works you can always tweak it with dbedit afterwards, and the re-upload it.

Yep, will do. Going back to fresh 1.7.6 install.
Looking around it appears I am not the only one having issues like this.
If this is a permission issue and the lamedb file is not getting ftp'd across via the PC based apps, but it does work via the feeds, then I can get the initial load via the feeds as you suggest, then tweak the Bouquet in DBE, which if it then fails to push the lamdb file will still be OK as the orig one from the feeds will still be there.
Thats the theory anyway.
Ideally though I'd like a crack at fixing root cause for the push from VuCC/DBE as that should work.Comment

Big thanks to Dig icon.
While the Catseye uploads via VuCC don't work, consistently, the feeds do. So the wife will have to put up with the duplicate UK regional BBC/ITV channels for now, until I figure out how to get the VuCC & DCE pushes working.Comment

Am thinking that digicons suggestion is best.
The issue seems to be that not all files are making it across via VuCC or DBE. This is from an initial push of the bouquet on a fresh image install, where there are no other bouquet files on the box.
If the feeds are working OK, which they seem to be, then if I export from the unit, tweak and then reimport, but some of the files (especially the lamedb file) do not make it back again, then the original feed files still reside on the Duo.
So it should work.
Seems logical captain !?!Comment

Thanks, and seen/read this.
The issue here is that not all the files are getting pushed via VuCC or DBE in some cases. I've had issues with VuCC and a guy on the sat-shop forum is having similar issue with the latest version of DBE. It work with an old version of DBE on BH, but not now I am told
Post 80 in that link is quite relevant for example.Comment

TBH I am hoping the missus will just get used to the idea of the regional stuff, so I don't have to bother.
We are dealing with a complete technophobe here.
The combination of a new remote and a dozen BBC1s just threw her completely.
Will look into the issue with VuCC/DCE pushes when I have a moment, which isn't now unfortunately.
Thanks to all.
