TV codes for the new remote??

    Lo there,

I know you can go the routine of searching for the right remote code for your TV, so you can use the Duo remote as a basic TV remote, but where are the codes listed to do this by typing a four digit code in. As I can't see them in the manual supplied - or anywhere on the web.

Mines one of the later remotes with power top left, instead of Mute and its a genuine Duo (not that that probably makes any difference)

Apparently they are in the manual around page 70, I have seen a thread with someone explaining to use the universal code of '0000' to cycle the remote codes until it finds the one for your tv could take 15-20 minutes.

They are not in the manual at all mate, not page 70 or any other page.

However there is a list in the manual for the Uno...................but the codes listed don't work - at least for my TV.

In the end have had a further dig around and cracked this. The instructions are slightly wrong/confusing.
To do this auto-search you have to do the following - not what is in the instructions:
Hold down number 1 and number 3 on the remote for 3 secs until the Power (or if on old remote 'mute') button lights up.
Enter 0000 to enter search mote
Then the key thing HOLD DOWN the power/mute button, until the TV either powers off (or the sound is muted for old remote).
The instructions imply you keep pressing the remote until the set turns off/mutes. This does not work (at least for me)
It took 4 or 5 mins for the my Samsung D5000 plasma to power off.
I now have a remote that will power the TV on/off and do other basic stuff like volume change as well as all the Sat stuff
      Happy now
