    Vu+duo stuck in start mode

My vu+duo is stuck in start up mode, earlier to-day it was doing a back up and instead of the usual couple of seconds it froze for about 10mins. so i switched box off at the back, switched back on and it has remained in starting mode. I turned it off again disconnected the ethernet cable left it for ten mins tried again, still nothing. I can do nothing with it as it has been left for 20 mins to see if it will come to life. Still nothing. Any ideas?

    I have 2.4 vix
    Thanks for your replies

I had this but only after I flashed it just recently.

I could only get a cpl of images to boot for some reason. A old PLi 2.1 beta then BH 1.7.3

I flashed the secret file then tried the 1.7.0 so dunno if that was the case or just coincidence.

But get the BH 1.7.3 and give it a go.

WOS has it, that where I got it from.

So I would just keep trying a few diff images and see how you go.

Does it read the flash ok ?

i have read others have cleared the problem by
flashing the box with a nfi image using the browser
and the ethernet cable, there are not a lot of forums
with nfi files now most only have the usb images posted
this is both nfi and usb images if you want to try it,

thats also well posted mate that if you have a hard drive
it wants disconnecting and the ethernet cable to the router
unplugging and leave the box off a short time and then try a
usb flash again and see if it clears and boots up if it does then
re-connect the hd and ethernet cable

just worth pointing out that any ViX 2.4 image above build 155 or BH 1.7.6 image will not work on a clone due to new drivers released by vu which have anti clone measures in them.
