    VU Duo Clone Help

Hi All, I purchased two Vu Duo Clones from China last week, One I have bricked already but I am on to that, the other I tried to set up for my dad... I guessed it was plug in Tune and wham, all would be OK! Clearly not...

I set Tunner A to Astra 28.2e, Port a and port b and the same with Tunner B. It showed about 1000 stations, I.e Channel 4 came up in the list 5 times! but when I went in to view anyone it would not let me view. How do I pick up the local freesat stations in order i.e BBC 1, 2, UTV (ITV) 4 Channel 5 etc, to allow me to watch them? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.....

Both A & B Tuners set to simple single 28.2e send diseqc to no
You seem to have scanned and received channels so once rebooted check last scanned channels not favourites. You should be able to select channel to view now. You will still have to load channel lists later as this makes viewing easier.

You can either do what Potrobber suggested or depending on what image you have loaded you can get a Channel list direct from the Feeds and install one that way.

TSpanel is a good plugin for finding the latest channel lists as well as other plugins etc...

Thanks, Were do I get the full Sky Channel lists from? Just discovered Vu Control Centre, LOL. and a button called update channel list, which when clicked takes me to my folders? Is this how I get them once downloaded? Could you maybe give me a link to the correct Channel list? Also, do I need to use Filezilla to make use of Vu Control Centre, So much to take in

If you just want a Sly 28.2? east only list then have a look for MrMister's or even SGTflipflop they are good ones.

Excellent.. I have just installed my first channel list! Thanks all for your help... Although there are now numbers beside the channels, when I press say, 101 (BBC1) or even 1, it does not jump to this station? Is it supposed to?

It should do yes but most people just use the pre-configured favourites bouquet

no you just need a hard drive installed no magical settings to get it to work, once installed you can record direct from the EPG just like a sly box

Use a laptop hard drive mate a 3.5 is not recommended.
