I am in the process of getting a Sat set after being with Vermin for years . I am buying 2 VU+ Duos with hard drives . I have been told that I will need 4 feeds from my dish ( 2 per box ) if I want to watch one channel why recording another ? Is this true?

each tuner really needs it's own feed from the lnb otherwise you will not get the benefits of having a dual tuner receiver.
just make sure a quad lnb is fitted with the dish and run two feeds to each box. or even better get a octo lnb fitted that way you will have another 4 feeds spare incase you decide to add more receivers at a later date.Comment
