VU+Duo or Wait for Solo 2

I'm thinking of getting a VU+Duo box to replace or sky+hd but as we all know the new Duo2 and Solo2 are coming out soon with no known date. so i was wondering whether it will be worth the wait for a better more powerful box or shall i just take the plunge now?
right now im thinking of getting the box from https://www.hm-sat-shop.de/hdd-recei...eiver-pvr.html

as it only ends up costing ?260 with a 3 year guarantee.

What do you want to spend ?260 or double if I had double the money I would wait. But hey It's your money only you know if you really want to spend that much.

Prices are supposed to be about ?400 if this is correct should be a great box. Providing the hype is true.

just buy a Uno now and wait until the swappable Dual DVB-S/S2 tuners are released essentially turning it into a dual tuner box.

The uno is a very good box but still no price on dual tuner and I assume it will be the one in the new solo.

the solo2 is going to be a fixed tuner receiver unlike the duo2 / uno and ultimo.

Only you can answer that, it all depends on what you want.
If you require more bells and whistles then buy the latest box.
I have had my Duo+ around two years and it does all that I require.

RD pray tell when the tuner will be ready for sale as you will have knowledge beforehand. I seen a picture of one months ago from some guy in sweden but they are still not here.

Unfortunately I / we ( ViX ) are just as much in the dark as you are about the timeline for the release of these tuners. i suspect we will only know within a week or two of their release, if and when i know i'll post here as always.

At a guess not before the new receivers are released whenever that is.

i think i'll just wait for the new box. like you said you've had the box for 2 years and after 2 years its probably starting to feel a bit behind the times so i'll wait for the solo2 and hopefully keep that for 2 years =)
