timer recording problems on duo

hi,

Only had the box 2 days so still learning

when i set a timer recording on the duo, the channel i want to record is switched over to and the recording starts. If I then try to change over to another channel I am told that there is not a free tuner
HOWEVER
If i press the record button to record the channel I am watching at the time I am able to then switch to another channel and the recording works.

I am running blackhole 1.77 and am looking for the tuner settings and timer record settings but not locating them

when you set up your tuners did you set up tuner B same as tuner A ?

yes both set at simple - trying to find menu option that allows me to check the tuner settings

set A as simple and B as " equal to tuner A "

Sorry I have only got mine today . I dont even have an image on mine yet. I am only finding 365 channels on 19.2 . How many are you finding ?

How many did the scan find ?

i didn't scan, I flashed image then ftp'd the excellent sgtflipflops stuff from here - big thanks to him

possibly looking at wrong sat . should be 28.2 not 19.2
