Epg set up!

I have recently bought a duo box i first tried vix then i tried bh and to be honest i liked vix better just for the epg!

So i have reverted back to a fresh instsll of vix i have not messed around with any of the settings for epg yet! At the moment some channel listjngs show in epg and some dont! I am on 28.2! My question is how do i set this up correctly before i get trigger happy?

hi mate go on epg settings and use open tv for 28.2. make sure you have a usb mounted as it will save on the flash memory not recommended

Initialise hdd or usb then mount and set up path. ie media hdd. Menu-set up-system-epg-settings. Select media hdd remember to press green to save selection. leave other settings. Then select configure and select what time of day for download.Then you can update selected providers and select required epg source. ie open tv.

Thanks guys for help all sorted i did it manually i think to get it to work i now have a better understanding! But finally a good epg!

Right now i think i maybe being greedy is there a way to record a program each week auto?

Yes mate, try auto timer. Think it's integrated into the vix image.
If not you can download it from plugins.

yes mate its already in vix image, auto timer , just make sure you untick weekday option and press ok
