record not working right

recently done a re flash on my vu duo box as was having problems
now when i trying recording from epg (select what i want press red button) it starts recording but wont let me watch any other channel
all other channels writing goes grey instead of being white and wont let me swap channels its like it disabled all channels bar that one i have selected to record
how can i sort this thanks

its like its stopping you from changing channels as recording has first rights,dont know how you can move to second tuner to view,2 cables connected from 1 sat?

can i just select loop though tuner a or is it different one

Have you got 2 cables going into the box ?, if you only have one and have selected loop through, that will be the reason you can only record 1 prog :-), you might be able to record a prog that uses the same transponder as the one recording, best to have to cables from sat going into the box if you want to watch and record another/multi channels :-)

yes both sat feeds are in box
i dont know what i set up as i cant remember
if its set on loop thought is that right one to be on or is there another one i should of selected

tuner a to match tuner b or something like that as i have both on same sat.

I've just set both of mine to Simple on 28.2e. I've seen posts here about setting the 2nd to loop back or same as A but to me that didn't make sense so I configured each individually but exactly the same, if that makes sense

Surely somebody can help us out with this snag, this was the main reason I purchased the Vu+ Duo !!!

ive sorted mine out thanks everyone for help
on tuner settings a set tuner a as simple 28.2
then set tuner b as advanced with 28.2
now is records fine as it should for a twin tuner box

Tuner B equal to Tuner A

thats the way mine works .
