    VU+ Duo not working after fitting a HDD

    Guys, I have VU+ Duo (original) and I just fitting a HDD in it (1TB Western digital 3.5). Plug the cables in and fixed it to the caddy. I went to plug it in and now the box won't turn on, no power at all. Any ideas?

      Did you format hdd before fitting? Disconnect again then try. Did you make sure all cables are pushed home? With electicity off.

          Does your HHD have external power supply? If not perhaps it drag too much current from USB. In this case use a USB hub with external power supply to connect the HHD.

              Sorted. The Plug connector for the power is a really tight fit and it's pushed the pin inside so wasn't connect. Took the connector out and pushed it back in all fine. Just set Jaws 2 to record so I can watch it later
