Have I got a duff tuner?

Hi all.
I have a clone vu+ duo with a motorised dish plugged into tuner A and sly uk in tuner b.
Tried to watch BBC 1 tonight and nothing on the screen.
SNR was 0 and AGC was 78%, so I thought the cable was buggered. Plugged in the cable from my sly box and stilll no joy.
So I checked if tuner A was working which it is.
I got bbc world news on 13e no worries.
Does this mean tuner B is buggered or could I sort it with a reflash of my image?

hi was you trying to watch hd bbc or bb1 hd at all because if thats the case they have moved.
Transponder has changed to 8PSK and FEC 2/3.

Nope also tried sky sports and Itv with no luck.

only reading about bbc and others gone so doing a full rescan,check in the all section not in the old bouquet that is now obsolete.
check on the KINGOFSAT website for movement of channels from all sats.

I've always used remade bouquets. I checked about a dozen channels including sly sports, sly movies and all the fta channels.
I might try a scan when I get home tonight and see if that works.
could it be the channels moving about for the launch of astral 2f?
I hope that's all it is.

The BBC channels have just changed from QPSK to 8PSK and 8/9 to 2/3 change these over on the frequency search and it will find them again

How about the sly sports and movie channels? Wasn't getting anything with them either.

Ok, all sorted thanks guys. A mixture of me being a bit thick, transponder changes and clumsiness, but all ok now.

i have my sky hooked up to tuner A, motorised on tuner B, i've read thats the best way
sometimes i can't get anything on ethier tuner A or B, switch off/on at socket sometimes it works sometimes i need to switch it off/on a few times
i've also found that my tuners only let me try to setup the motorised dish, for a few minutes before i need to switch it off/on again

Exactly how was your problem resolved as I appear to have duff tuner .

Just reflashed my image from scratch and it was sorted.

not getting much luck with my clone pickup some channels that the old dreambox 500 got easy

Im currently on vix 2.4 build 96. I tend to flitter between vix and blackhole, preferring the UI and features of vix, but the reliability of blackhole.

fixed dish on tuner a, motor on b, no problems at all
