Hi just wondering about this vu+duo does it rewind when on channels just like the s** boxes you get from them and with recording can u record b**1 and watch s** sports channels dont know if I am aloud to say this but if not can you pm me and let me know the ins and out thanks anybody for answers

With a Hard drive fitted, yes it does time shift like a sly box.
As long as you have a feed into each tuner, yes you can record 1 and watch another at the same time.

first Format USB memory stick as FAT32.

next if you hav'nt aready Download your chosen image/firmware file.
Unzip/rar the folder and take the vuplus open folder out of the zip/rar
do not open the vuplus open folder, this contains anouther folder DUO,
in this folder are three files that are used to flash on your VU+DUO.
next just transfer the whole vuplus folder .it will say transfering 5 files
on to the USB stick. once done remove the usb stick from your computer usb port.now for the next steps once you have the vuplus folder on the memory stick.go to the receiver and with the switch on the rear panel turn the VU+duo off open the front flap on the right hand side. then Connect your USB memory stick in the front usb port,next turn on VU+DUO with the rear switch then on the front vu+duo dispay you will see [reading usb] it will then go through the various stages of flashing/erasing/programming the image on your box [ once this procedure starts do not do anything or you could damage the box] it does take a little time just Wait for message [Finished remove USB and re boot]then remove USB memory stick from the front port and with the rear switch turn off VU+DUO and wait 30 seconds. then turn it back on then once the receiver starts up you should now get the new image startup screen.now the box now has the image flashed then you set up the receiver menu.

just be careful with the latest images they can give you problems
until a new cfe file comes out if your box is a clone

you need to look for back up images to get everything
already installed, i have never tried one, but it's so easy
to do it yourself and that way you decide which cam or cams
and settings you load etc.

Really best to read up and do it all yourself.
That way if it goes wrong in the future, you'll know how to sort it out.

Thanks mate is there any out there that gives me the 7 day epg as I have tried 2 now and I have not had the that at all jus now and next and that's all I get I have used cross epg also have a 1tb hdd installed but still nothing thanks again

Read up on how to set up epg depending what image you are on.

hi thats me got everything set up now the only thing i dont understand is the twin tuner what settings should i put the tuner too for best recording so its watching one and recording the other i dont have a clue its a single satellite 28.2 thanks for any advice

TUNER B set as " EQUAL TO TUNER A "
