    Blackhole UI/Skin plus button settings

    Lo there,

    Been battling away to find a way to get my DVB-T USB stick to work with my Duo and Vix OE3.0.
    Finally given up. It works with BH 1.7.8 so will look at trying Blackhole again.

    I really like the Vix 3.0 UI/skin (think it's "ViX Day HD") plus the button config.
    Is there a BH skin which looks/works similar to the "VIX Day HD" skin?

    Also, have used BH with multiquickbutton previously to remap the BH buttons, but could never quite get it to map as I wanted. There are always restrictions on what buttons could be assigned to what? is there a better config or way to map the buttons. Basically I want it to pretty much map like the default Vix OE3.0 setup. Its nice and simple for the family to use.

      I know the image comes with vix is vix night hd. If that's what your after try vali hd.

          Cheers Dude. Yes vix night hd is the default for Vix, and the one I use.
          OK, will try Vali HD.

          Just got to hope I can get BH working without it keep dropping the mounts (USB and HDD), as that was my previous "challenge" when it came to crossepg updates.
          Looking through the posts here and other forums, seems I am not alone.
          VIX doesn't give me this issue.

          They have a "Lite" version of BH now, and if I remove some of the unwanted plugins and maybe employ a swapfile I'm hoping that issue will go away. Vix is a much smaller image, so hoping this is/was a memory issue for my DUO and BH.

              you can port the ViX Skins to any other Pli based image such as the new black pole 2.0 image, but they wont fully work properly as they are specifically written for the ViX image and it's layout etc.

                  an alternative option for the button config problem is use a logitech harmony remote to configure buttons, rather than use the i age.

                  obviously costs more, but some of the lower end harmony remotes can be got for as little as ?6-7
