every 7 days i have to do a epg update menu setup crossepg and download its been working fine it the last couple of weeks when its only been partly downloadind the epg so ive been deleting some addons then it work but ive nealy deleted them all do i need to set up a external hdd would that work if so what size hdd and how do i do it please

So are you currrently storing epg in flash?
That is not recommended as it could lead to problems when flash gets full.
I use a 8 gb flash drive/ usb stick for epg and picons, easy to set up.
insert drive, initialise and mount, then set epg to store on usb stick/ flash drive.
Also suggest you setup to update daily. Much easier.

stick a usb stick in the back then press blue,blue go to devices manager you will see the usb stick press red to mount then press left or right until it says media/usb
red to save it will reboot then go to menu,system,cross epg,configure and change the top option to usb stick then green for ok then scroll down and press ok on download now
