During the last week i have found my tv guide only updates if i reset my vu duo box , are there any reasons for this?

EPG settings are in the menus. Crossepg settings.

Mate, I had exactly the same issue a while back - in truth I never got it fixed.

VIX OE3.0 updates the EPG daily without an issue. For me (and others here and on other forums - though not all its true to say) its a problem using BH on a Duo. May be down to insufficient memory onboard the Duo.

As have been mentioned before the BH images of late are huge in comparison to Vix and the like. Its all that plugins and Parallel Universe sh*te that comes with BH by default.

With BH, EPG updates never worked, usb and hdd mounts dropped every other day and I got lots of OS crashes.

Vix gives me none if this.
The issue I have now is that my external USB DVB-T stick only works with BH, not Vix - so I may have to come back to BH, and fix the issues I mention above.

I would suggest you go for the new "Lite" version of BH 1.7.8 and remove some of the included plugins to try and reduce the memory needed for the Duo to work properly.
Then let me know how you get on coz if you get it working I will have a reason to return to BH.
