Hi all... just received my new vu duo a few days ago with vix 3.0 pre installed. when im trying to mount a usb stick, the box keeps crashing with an error log. Does anyone know where to find this log? and would anyone be able to tell me what it means? thanks.

i have found that my vu+ is very fussy when it comes to usb sticks
try a different usb stick
i format the stick in my computer to fat32 default settings
turn off vu+ and put the stick in the back
turn on vu+ press blue button twice goto device manager and mount as/media/usb
resart vu+ then goto menu-setup-system-customize
and set to expert setup green for ok
then goto recording paths and set your recording paths
default is /auto/sda1/movie
set them all to this
you may need to use dreamcontrol center to make a folder ( movie ) in the usb stick
to read the crash log i use the tspanel and the crash log reader -

Ended up flashing and starting from scratch
All seems ok now, still got lots to learn tho..
